Kids

 

Do you ever have a day when you are about to boot your adult child out the house for _______.  (you fill in the blank, each child is different).  You are frustrated and almost ready to throw in the towel and all of the sudden he rides his bike by your employment and gives you hugs.  ???  What is up with that?  Am I the only one that gets frustrated with his or her kid(s)?

Kids

Sometimes kids will say something out of the blue and throw you for a loop.  Today my son thanked me for being there for him and for his upcoming graduation in May.  He started the subject off with, "don't cry mom, but I "  His father passed away 4 years ago and he must have been thinking and planning the future.  Sometimes he is so sweet!  You never know if you will get a nice comment or a comment full of colorful language.

Saturday and Sunday?

I have three kids in my household and all of them have special needs.  One is my son and two others are living with us.  It is a long story as to why we have two more in our household.  I usually refer to the other two in our household as my kids and they call me mom.  Anyway my son told the other boy, (or son #2), that we were going to church Saturday and Sunday since we missed church last week.  Son #2 called me a few minutes ago to confirm this.  He is 21 years old and he called me to check to see why we were going both days.  LOL  I get a kick out of kids and how gullible they are, unfortunately it reminds me of when I was younger.
