Use up those fabric scraps and other odds and ends

Do you have lots of scrap fabrics???  One of the ways to use them up is to make twine.  I know it sounds odd.  One of the uses for this twine would be to tie up packages.  Cool kids jewelry would also be a good use for the twine, or use it in basket weaving.  The possibilities are endless.  I have spun fabric strips in the past using a spinning wheel, but not everyone spins and this method would be great for the non-spinners.  You may want to give this method a look.

I understand that early chicken molting may mean that we are going to have a very cold winter.  I have one chicken that is almost naked..................
